Hey, remember after we invaded Iraq and we found all those WMDs…

Y’know the ones that the president, pretty much every other politician, every military general, and every intelligence analyst was CERTAIN were there?
Yeahhh… Now tell me again about the imminent threat of a nuclear Iran.
-Joe

Exactly.

We’ve become a country that values shareholders over citizens, and it’s this whole bullshit about corporations are people. They’re not. … that’s what’s gotten crazy. You can’t be a person if other people can’t kick your ass.

If you think about it, this picture makes sense. However, the two should be switched, since America is becoming less the “Land of the Free” and more the “Land of Those Who Can Buy Government”

Choice Words

Selected words used by President Obama in his State of the Union addresses, and by Republican presidential candidates in their debates, television interviews and major speeches since May.

Interesting.  Santorum seems to be the most inconsistent in terms of topics covered — he has much bigger spikes and drops than the others.

Mitt Romney: the next CEO of America.

How We Roll

F1r5t P05t!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the American Bottom-Left. Allow us to grace you with our presence by informing and entertaining you about the beef that matters to non-partisan liberals, lefties, and libertarians.

Partisanship is a one-dimensional scale in this country and some issues are completely bass-ackwards. Example: I personally support the right to own guns, and I also believe in gay marriage rights. In America, for some stupid reason, one belief makes me a Republican, and the other makes me a Democrat. But scientifically, both of those beliefs are libertarian beliefs.

So now you’ve been warned, this is not a blog for Democrats. The bottom-left is a politically scientific principle favoring economic security, personal freedom and social equality and is devoid of party affiliation.

About

Politics, News, History and Comedy for Non-Partisan Liberals.

Partisanship is a one-dimensional scale in this country, and some issues are completely bass-ackwards as a result.

The bottom-left is a politically scientific principle favoring economic security, personal freedom and social equality and is devoid of party affiliation.

Every person has the right to marry who they want to marry. Every person has the right to protect and defend themselves. Corporations are not people, and wealth should not be equated to political power. We're all in this together.
